False or Real Prophet, Who Is Desteni?

Our incessant wanderings over the Internet lead us to many strange things and our recent discovery of Desteni is no exception. While looking for UFO videos on YouTube, we ran across a video made by a young girl in which she speaks as Adolf Hitler. Intrigued, we decided to give a quick view. We watched the entire seven plus minutes, puzzled and maybe even a little bit frightened.



The speech was very odd, but seemed a bit more sophisticated than idle teenage rambling. We soon discovered that there are dozens of videos by this same girl featuring everyone from Elvis to Mother Theresa. Legit or not whoever she is, if nothing else, she is certainly diligent! Some of the messages ring true to us here at The Apocalypse Times and yet some of it seems downright ridiculous. I suppose if a prophet walked into the room and talked to us we would most likely laugh in his/her face.



Desteni claims to be an inter-dimensional portal, a super highway for the dead to communicate with us en masse. The website features tons of material including articles, and messages from those, both famous and unknown, who have recently passed over. The volumes of material alone are enough to make us think that maybe there's something to this strange young lady. The creations of Desteni are at best an interesting curiosity, at worst blasphemy but most likely just another confusing symptom of The Apocalypse Times.

Mira, The Red Dragon and More Synchronicity

We recently posted an article about some interesting parallels between the discovery of bizarre new properties of a known star, Mira, and some impromptu statements made by Pope Benedict. In a recent homily he focused on the "red dragon", a major player in the Book of Revelation from the Christian Bible. The red dragon appears in Revelation 12:3:

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. The dragon lay in wait to devour the unborn child of a woman who is "clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet... (Rev. 12:1)

Four major events occurred on the same day, August 15th, 2007:

1. The discoveries by NASA are released on the red giant Mira.

2. The Pope gives a homily in which he emphasizes the red dragon. The full text can be found here.

3. The feast of the Assumption took place.

4. The Peruvian earthquake occurred in which most who were killed were in a Catholic church celebrating the Feast of the Assumption.

For some reason, these events seemed to cross paths in a synchronous way. We had a gut feeling that perhaps they might all be pointing to something, to the same thing or to the many things that are occurring in these times. The buzz earlier in the week had been all about a series of crop circles that were pointing to a date of August 18th. Nothing happened, or so it seemed.
If you look at our main page you'll realize that something major did happen and is happening all over the world.

The crop circles pointing to the dates in mid-August were full of Mayan imagery and references; hurricane Dean swept across the Yucatan peninsula, the birthplace of the Mayans and their calendar, during this same August time frame. The Pope spoke of the evil power of the red dragon and it was announced to us on that same day, August 15th, that a sight unseen to human eyes had been discovered in space:



Excuse our poor Photoshop® rendering on the left, but on close inspection of the original NASA image (right) the face of a dragon seems to appear atop the head of Mira, the red giant star with a tail 13,000 light years long:

"And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth..." (Rev 12:4)

The Perseid Meteor shower also occurred within the last several days.

Ah, the fun of speculation on the end times!

The Red Dragon -- Some Interesting Coincidences

We've been watching some very interesting things in the news lately, seeing some significance in them and wonder just what the common thread might be. The first little tidbit of news that caught our eye was this little blurb from AFP (Agence France-Presse) which talks of the Pope's recent mention of the Red Dragon. A number of things were odd about the statement. First, it was made on the day of the Feast of the Assumption which marks the ascension of The Blessed Virgin's physical body into heaven. This day August 15th was also, coincidentally, a day when hundreds died in Peruvian Catholic churches celebrating the religious event. We quote from the article:

The pontiff said the "red dragon" had been embodied in "the great dictatorships of the past century: Nazism and Stalinism."

"Today, the dragon exists in various forms -- in the materialist ideologies which tell people that it is absurd to think about God, to observe the Commandments which are described as outdated, and that they should grab what they can." "It seems impossible to oppose this dominant mentality with all the media backing it has and the dragon once again appears to be invincible," he said.

"But God is stronger than the dragon and it is love which triumphs, not selfishness."

The red dragon appears in the Book of Revelation 12:3, we quote from the New American Standard Bible:

Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems.

Another odd coincidence, on August 15th NASA released major and historic news in the world of astronomy. Using GALEX the Galaxy Evolution Explorer, scientists had discovered that a known star, Mira, was followed by a thirteen light year tail. The discovery was baffling, the mechanism for the existence of such an object is not known. To NASA the existence of such a thing in space just didn't make sense. Mira is, according to NASA's press release: "an older star called a red giant that is losing massive amounts of surface material." (emphasis added)

Could Mira be our red dragon?????
Watch the NASA animation below. Be sure to pause the video and look at it for a few seconds at about 33 seconds into the animation. Their animation of Mira could almost resemble a dragon, but that may be a stretch.

We did a little research on the word DIADEM, which is also mention in the same verse of Revelation as the red dragon, and it got us to thinking about some of the symbolism in a different way. "Diadem is the brightest star in the constellation Coma Berenices." Perhaps diadem does not refer to a crown at all, but a group of stars in the sky? Let us now disclaim that we are not claiming to be expert in Bible Prophecy, nor do we lay much credence to much of what has come from the analyzation of the Book of Revelation over the centuries. We have an amateur interest, simply because the work is packed with symbolism.

Interestingly, Mira herself is located in the constellation Cetus. This constellation has been associated with ancient Mother of the Gods of Babylon, Tiamat. Tiamat is the dragon goddess of chaos who battled the Marduk the god of justice and light.


Perhaps we are getting some kind of mixed message or accidentally encrypted warning with all of this red dragon stuff. We don't really know for sure what it all means. We are certain that the parallels are fascinating and after some more digging, we may find even more...

The New Circles Before August 18th, Do They Talk of Rebirth?

The new crop circles are out, just before August 18th, and
even the anonymous Australian Scientist appears confused as to the meaning. The Woodborough Hill, Wiltshire, England Wheat Pattern seems an anti-climax after the obvious Mayan symbol in the Stanton St Bernard circle.

One of the new circles appears to be an obvious representation of a scepter or rattle. Just what this symbolism means mystifies us here at The Apocalypse Times. The rattle is the toy of babes, the symbol of innocence; the scepter is the toy of kings, the hand tool of wisdom, reverence and leadership.
Are we about to find an enlightened despot who will guide us to the truth?

The numbers are too difficult to crunch if we look at the circles as mathematicians, physicists or Mayan Calendar crunchers. I doubt that God would give us such a hard seek-a-find puzzle. Is this the 666 we've been fearing or the folly of two men with board and string leading us down a path of confusion?

There is a message in the circles...can you figure it out?

It appears this message was purely commercial made for a promotion of a group called Gyroscope who shot a video Wiltshire UK. The video will apparently show the band playing amidst the crop circle. So it was two guys with a board????

Amazing Discovery Mira, A Star Seeding Space

An amazing first has been photographed in space: a star with a tail. The star's name is Mira after the Latin word for wonderful.

Most amazing of all is that as much as our civilization claims to know, we keep stumbling on things that prove how little we really do know. A discovery this grand in scope is unfathomable, and for many might well be unsettling. We feel safe and secure with our theories that make sense to us, that are reasonable and simple. Yet our sophisticated tools are discovering things beyond the vision of our eyes and the scope of our understanding.

"I was shocked when I first saw this completely unexpected, humongous tail trailing behind a well-known star," said scientist Christopher Martin of the California Institute of Technology.

The star is shedding the building blocks of life, like carbon and oxygen, as it dies across a vast area of space. Scientists are baffled; it doesn't fit their physics. It wasn't that long ago that scientists trying to weigh the universe discovered that most of the mass was unaccounted for, missing, dark. The search for the explanation behind what is called "dark matter" remains fruitless, yet some feel they are on the edge of an explanation of the mystery.

You are crazy if you see a UFO or a ghost because that's unexplained...maybe you're not crazy?

More Interesting UFO Video--Triangles and Circles Coming Together

There has been somewhat of a UFO flap over the past few weeks with most of the activity being reported, at least in main stream news, in and around the United Kingdom. The biggest of the stories broke in July, on or about the 26th, at Stratford Upon Avon. You can scroll down the blog to watch a video that mesmerized a group of people as they stood outside a pub. Unknown lights moved independently, stood still and formed a triangular pattern over the crowd.



This video comes with a story straight from the paranormal investigator's mouth. It turns out that this very interesting bit of film was taken by a couple who have devoted the last fifteen years of their lives to watching the sky! Kenneth John Parsons and Hilary Porter are founders of a group they call BEAMS, (The British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society). They must have been beaming when they stumbled on this dance of lights in the night sky. Like the Stratford Upon Avon "craft", a triangle is formed by the lights. Is there a message here? The UK couple seems to think so:

"The lights didn’t seem part of a made or manufactured object…but we both definitely had the feeling that what we were looking at had some intelligence."

The recent spate of interesting crop circles and sky triangles has us here at The Apocalypse Times thinking some important message is being conveyed to us; but, if the message is so important why can't anyone figure it out? If you can, please let us know...

Crop Circle at Stanton St Bernard Adds to Suspense Regarding August 18th

The crop circles pointing to August 18th and the stories that surround them are getting more complicated, more frightening and just down right weird.

We have stylized the image of the Stanton St Bernard circle in order to show its similarity to the Mayan symbol for the number six below.
Once again August 18th seems to be the destination date for crop circle decryption experts and armchair prophecy makers. The Stanton St. Bernard circle was discovered on August 12th and that is six days before the big date! Just what is going to happen, if anything, depends on who is looking at the circle.

Whitley Strieber still sees gloom and doom coming. Linda Moulton Howe's anonymous Australian Scientist appears to be confused by the whole thing, only sure that the date is recurring in crop circles from the last couple of years. He points to Venus based calendars, a Mayan symbol for earthquake and other wild stuff in an article you must read. We predict that you'll be scratching your head, as we have been.

The whole topic is absolutely fascinating and deserves further scrutiny from people all over the world. Like the Rorschach Inkblot Test, crop circles seem to look different to everyone. Perhaps the answer to the mystery is in your own perception.

August 18th and the Pewsey White Horse Crop Circle

Doomsdayers, ufo enthusiasts, and scientists alike are fascinated with the myriad of symbols embedded in the Pewsey White Horse Crop Circle.
First laid down in an English field on August 4th, 2007 the circle is gathering interest as it rolls around the Internet. According to Linda Moulton Howe's site, Earthfiles.com, a circle created on August 1st represents a lunar calendar which points to a time just after midnight on August 18th. This was deciphered by an Australian scientist who contacted Linda and requested his or her anonymity. The Pewsey White Horse crop circle points to a time of just after midnight on August 18th according to the same anonymous expert. To read her full report and see photos go here. We find it infinitely interesting that a scientist browsing the web in his leisure time felt driven to decode a lunar calendar hidden inside a crop circle.

The story gets even more weird as we start to look at other interpretations of the symbolism inside the circle. We browsed over to Whitley Strieber's site Unknowncountry.com where we were surprised to find another interpretation of the Pewsey White Horse Circle. Whitley sees at the center of the circle a representation of a nuclear device wrapped in a crescent moon. He intimates that some event may occur involving Iran on or near August 18th proving the validity of the crop circle message in a very scary way. To read more visit this link. Why Iran? Because twice repeated in the circle is a nine pointed star, symbol of the Baha'i faith which originated in Iran. Could someone be trying to warn us of a catastrophic event in the near future through symbolism? The idea is absolutely intriguing.

The circle could have more positive implications, though here at The Apocalypse Times we are not inclined to think in such directions. To us the symbol in the center is more suggestive of a symbol representing the All-Seeing Eye of God, or Eye of Providence most commonly seen atop the pyramid on the back of the one dollar bill.
This symbol is surrounded by conspiracy and controversy in modern times; having been associated with the Masons and the Illuminati. Its origins can be tracked to ancient Egypt and the eye of Horus. The triangle with a circle at the center has also been used to represent the Holy Trinity of Christianity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The crescent moon is an obvious and indisputable symbol of the Islamic faith. Interestingly, the moon phase on August 18th will be near a crescent. The symbol of the Islamic faith probably sparks fear among most U.S. Christians, but perhaps there is less to fear and more to hope from the story of this crop circle.

The crescent moon wraps around what may be the symbol of the Christian faith or perhaps a symbol more specific to the United States. The United States adopted the symbol of the All-Seeing Eye in the 18th century as part of its Great Seal. Wrapping around both of these iconic symbols is a symbol of the Baha'i faith, the nine pointed star. The Baha'i faith originated in Iran, specifically Tehran by a man who claimed to a supreme manifestation of God. One of the central tenets of the Baha'i faith is one of the basic equality of all humans. Religious tolerance is essential and the unification of all humankind is paramount among all issues confronting the modern world. Let's home the biggest circle wins!

Could August 18th be the start of something big? Will it be bad or good? We will simply have to wait and see what, if anything, the symbolism inside the Pewsey White Horse Circle means.

The East Field Crop Circle 7-7-7

July 7, 2007 was purported to be the luckiest day ever and it may well have been for self-appointed crop circle and UFO investigator Winston Keech of Yorkshire England. Below is a four minute video that shows what could be proof that there is more to the crop circle phenomenon than two old men walking around with a board.
